Seal Beach is in a prime location. Just to the south of Seal Beach is Huntington Beach (Surf City) and Newport Beach. Just to the north of Seal Beach you’ll find Long Beach. There’s nothing like a California beach vacation and there’s nothing like spending it in one of our luxurious Seal Beach vacation homes. In Seal Beach you’ll enjoy your days on the beach and your nights at the local restaurants, bars and dance clubs. Seal Beach is one of the best beach vacation spots in the world. If you like to dance the night away there are plenty of live music clubs and bars. If you like to fish you can take a boat out into the Pacific Ocean and go deep sea fishing or simply grab your pole and fish of the Seal Beach Pier, it’s the second longest pier in California. Things to do on your California Beach Vacation
The Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce sponsors many events throughout the year. Some of the events are; Classic Car show in April, a Summer Concert series in July and August, the Fall Kite Festival in September and the Christmas Parade in December.
On Electric Avenue where the railroad tracks used to run, there is the Red Car Museum  which features a restored Pacific Electric Railway Red Car. The Red Car trolley tracks once passed through Seal Beach going south to the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach. Going north into Long Beach you could then take the Red Cars through much of Los Angeles County.
Seal Beach is also home to the Bay Theatre, a popular venue for independent film and revival screenings.

CAPISTRANO BEACH PARK: is wide and sandy -- and great for swimming. Because it's less well known than others in the area, it tends not to be as crowded. Perfect for a romantic date or a day out with the family. This beach is a hidden gem and one of the best California beaches to visit.
CORONA DEL MAR: This wide, deep beach offers a lot of room, which attracts large crowds. A jetty keeps the waves mild to moderate (boogie boards can be rented). Volleyball nets, fire pits and a grassy picnic area make for a great all-day beach.
DANA POINT: Dana Point Harbor houses 2,500 yachts within its two marinas, inside a one-and-a-half mile jetty. HUNTINGTON BEACH: With a nick-name like "Surf City" you already know what's in store. Lot's of surfing. You'll find Huntington Beach as one of the greatest California beaches to visit because of everything it has to offer. Shops, 5 star restaurants, discos, bike tours, surfing, local street parades, farmers market, etc. You do not want to miss visiting Huntington Beach on your California vacation.
LAGUNA BEACH: Parking difficulties aside, this may be OC's premier beach, if the blend of locals and tourists from around the world is any indication. MANHATTAN BEACH: home of Los Angeles athletes such as Shaquille O'Neil, Mike Piazza, Eric Karros and Mike Dodd (volleyball). The beach scene resembles an episode of Baywatch. It's mostly a mid-20's age crowd at the bars and night clubs.

NEWPORT BEACH: The waves break closer to the shore. The waves can get big and powerful. There is no surfing aloud at this harbor so it is a haven for expert bodysurfing. Newport Beach is one of the best California beaches to visit because it is wellknown for Trendsetters, check out the fashion the stores here. You can also take boat tours and bike tours. During winter, there are whale-watching tours and for children, there's an old-fashioned Fun Zone with rides. Don't forget to step out to see Historic Balboa Pavilion, a nearby state park, and visit Fashion Island for shopping.
SANTA MONICA: Santa Monica State Beach is one of the widest and most popular California beaches to visit with everything from an amusement park on the pier to volleyball.
SEAL BEACH: boasts the second longest wooden pier in California. "Stingray Bay" is a great place to visit and watch local marine life up close. This is a very clean and family friendly beach and one of the best California beaches to visit.
